Cook The Issue #97

Roast Potatoes and Mushrooms

Unfortunately, this is a lousy photo for a fabulous dish.  It'd be great with chicken, pork, beef...  And, it's really easy to make.  Perfect for a dinner party because all of the ingredients can be prepped in advance and the actual hands-on cooking time is minimal.

Pielove writes: Don't feel bad about the photos-- your recommendation counts for more!! Also, it seems like many of the best dishes in this issue don't photograph well-- the stuffed poblanos I made look pretty repugnant, and most of the postings of the broccolini with kalamata sauce look bad too. It makes one appreciate how the pros make it look so good in the magazine. Posted: 9:45 pm on January 23rd
