I made the broccoli soup from issue #97 for lunch today. I used onions and garlic as the aromatics, broth and water as the liquid, and broccoli as the vegetable. I finished with cream and lemon juice, and then garnished wiith some really thick bacon that was more like tasso.
I have been reading about the likely cancer fighting properties of broccoli, so it was great to work some more into my diet. The soup was smooth textured and flavorful.
