This was an interesting combination-- I love green olives and the raisins were tasty too. I'm not sure I'll ever make it again, but we sure gobbled it up! Thanks to the commenter who suggested serving this over rice-- we are a rice-loving family and it was great served that way, with a side of black beans. My daughter had "deconstructed picadillo" (pictured), which is a pile of beef, a pile of olives, a pile of golden raisins, and a hard-boiled egg. That was just right for the kiddie palate!
