orange and brown-butter tart

This one is a stunner!  It ends up looking like a stained glass window! I didn't have a circular tart pan so I used my rectangular one instead which worked just fine. The tart crust was great i thought, a very short crust that was buttery but I do know what other reviewers mean when they say it just falls apart. We liked the taste but felt it needed another texture or flavor to pair with the orange. My husband commented that all oranges seemed a bit boring. Next time, instead of the glaze I might sprinkle sugar on the top and brulee it for some crunch.  I might also consider spreading a thin layer of dark chocolate on the tart bottom and letting it cool before I put the filling in.  This way it keeps the tart from going mushy and can be made more in advance, and it can add a nice secondary flavor to pair with the oranges.
