Re:Bread Stuffing with Fresh Herbs

Best stuffing ever. I have failed year after year trying to produce good bread stuffing. This recipe did a good job pointing out the necessity of getting the dried bread cubes moist but not wet/soggy. This turned out perfect for our taste and I will be sure to make it again. Thank you!

Re:Cranberry-Orange Relish with Ginger

Very tasty raw cranberry relish. Not the favored style for our family who prefers the jellied version so I will most likely be eating the rest of it. Pretty good relish though.

Re:Mashed Potatoes with Olive Oil & Parsley

The olive oil and parsley was nice twist on mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving dinner, but I think 2Tbs salt for 2lbs of potatoes is way to much. I made up 5lbs and used 2Tbs and found that amount was too much for our taste- and we like salty. Perhaps it was meant to be 2tsp instead. Otherwise very tasty.

Re:Roasted Carrots & Parsnips with Shallot & Herb Butter

WOW! This was amazing :) This was my husband's favorite dish and tied for #1 for me. We loved the recipe as is, but I did use more shallot than the recipe called for- 1 whole large shallot so more like a quarter cup. The recipe says that it serves 2-3, but 1lb. parsnips and 1lb. carrots yield enough for 4-6 as a side for Thanksgiving dinner at our house.I actually omitted the butter (since we did not feel we needed the extra fat for our Thanksgiving meal) and just added the herbs, garlic and shallot. Perfectly delicious!

Re:Green Beans with Meyer Lemon Vinaigrette & Parmesan Breadcrumbs

I was worried that the dish would be too acidic using regular lemons since Meyers were unavailable, but it tasted delicious. I made the vinaigrette and breadcrumb mixture up the day before which made assembling the dish right before mealtime a snap.

Re:Brussels Sprouts with Toasted Hazelnut Butter

My favorite dish on the table hands down. I loved this! I plan to make it again and again. Made the hazelnut butter up the day before so putting it together right before mealtime was a snap. If you like Brussels sprouts, then you must make this dish.

Re:Chinese Pork & Mushroom Wraps

I made these after making the pork roast and the Cuban pork sandwiches and decided that we must make them again. They were easy to make using the leftover pork and were very tasty. All the kids loved them- even with the mushrooms. We did buy some mu-shu wrappers from the Asian market to use instead of using tortillas. I do not think I would like them as well on the flour tortillas.
