This is ridiculously delicious. It turned out perfectly and the flavor is complex-amazing. Heat leftover pieces up in the microwave for 20-30 seconds.

Delicious! I made it as is with frozen cranberries. Love the streusel layer. Had the same concerns as others about overflow, but no need to worry.

I love this recipe, been making it for years. Serve it warm during fall and winter, or cold during the summer. Also perfect with a little piece of goat cheese on top. You have to be a CooksClub member to view the recipe.

Re:Classic Beef Stew

Tonight is my second time making this recipe. The first time I used large 3" inch cubes of grass fed beef for slightly different presentation. Using the 1 hr 15 min cooking time the beef was perfectly fork tender, moist, and delicious. The slightly browned carrots add wonderful depth. Tonight I'm making it with a mix of carrots and parsnips for color variation! Highly recommend this for a slow food night.
