Until the past year, my style of cooking relied heavily on the microwave and break-and-bake cookies, but I've always loved food - especially desserts. My sweet tooth is my weakness! Lately, though, I've been trying to recreate my favorite dishes on my own so that I can have a bit of home with me when I go abroad for the fall semester. That endeavor opened up the world of cooking and baking for me. I realized how much better food can taste when you put in the effort to make it yourself. Something delicious can taste extraordinary because you took the time to perfect it - and to build up an appetite while doing so!
