Re:Lemon Chicken Breasts with Capers

Really nice chicken dish that goes well with some many things. If you are gluten-free just substitute raw walnuts for the breadcrumbs. Really delicious!!!!

Re:Spaghetti with Abruzzese Lamb Ragu

This is so tasty. I got a nice bottle of Abruzzese wine to make it with. I could not find the suggested tomatoes but used nice canned organic tomatoes. Be sure to use the Parmesan shavings.I put the leftovers in the freezer and used them a couple of weeks later. Beautiful, hearty dish.

Re:Pan-Seared Catfish with Creamy Greens

My husband and I enjoyed this recipe. I agree that farm raised catfish can be tasteless. However, Whole Foods tends to have very good fish even farm raised.Instead of kale (my husband dislikes), I steamed some red swiss chard and then followed the recipe as printed. My husband ,who tends to be a picky vegetable eater, cleaned his plate. Not my favorite Ivy Manning recipe but definitely worth a look.

Re:Lamb Skewers with Green Olive & Mint Sauce

What a wonderful way to prepare lamb. Very easy and the sauce is wonderful. I served it over brown rice with a Greek salad. Nice, fresh dinner. Would be great for company.

Re:Pistachio-Crusted Cod Fillets

Very delicious and very easy. Great for entertaining. My fishmonger did not get his order for cod so I had to substitute halibut and it was great. I agree that this topping could be used for many different types of fish.

Re:Recipe: Seared Scallops with Herb-Butter Pan Sauce

Scallops are one of my husband's favorites so I am always looking for good recipes. This not good, it is great! I did add a small amount of fresh oregano to the herbs. Also, after cooking the scallops, I tossed the sauce with some cooked spaghetti. Add the wonderful arugula salad and you have an A+ meal. My husband raved about it.

Re:Spice-Crusted Roast Pork Tenderloin

This is an excellent and easy company recipe. Make ahead and put in refrigerator like the recipe says. I served it with mashed potatoes and parmesan roasted asparagus. Next time I will serve with mashed sweet potatoes, the plain mashed potatoes were a little too bland.

Re:Sear-Roasted Haddock or Cod with Horseradish Aïoli & Lemon-Zest Breadcrumbs

One of the most delicious recipes for cod ever. I followed the directions exactly and the fish came out wonderful. My husband, who tends to be a picky eater, asked me what was in the topping and he loved it. Sounds like a lot of work but really goes together like 1-2-3.

Re:Five-Spice-Glazed Salmon with Sesame Green Beans

Ivy Manning does it again! Served this last night with basmati rice, and my husband loved it. Since ovens and salmon varies, keep an eye on the process. Mine took 7 minutes total instead of 6. Easy dinner and easy cleanup..... delicious!
