Fabulous recipe. I also used beef stock instead of chicken, and omitted the half-and-half and the baguettes. Totally unnecessary. This was a huge hit.

This is a very light slaw with not much flavor. It was an excellent accompaniment to slow roasted Memphis style barbecue ribs, but I don't think I'd make it otherwise.

Great, easy recipe. Hubby, who never cooks, made it for my birthday dinner and was quite proud of himself. A perfect one dish meal, and I agree with previous reviewer that any vegetables could be used. The bacon really makes it.

We loved this dish. I know I'll make it often. Used 3 red onions because one did not amount to anywhere near 3 cups, and there was definitely not too much onion. Even better the next day.

Re:Port Ganache-Glazed Brownies with Dried Cherries

These were really excellent. I don't normally like chocolate with fruit, but the cherries weren't overpowering at all. A very rich and elegant brownie.
