Re:Braised Chicken Legs with Carrot Juice, Dates & Spices

Outstanding recipe, and easy to make ahead. I prepared it up to the point of thickening the sauce, then let it cool slightly and refrigerated until dinnertime. A slow reheat allowed the sauce to thicken on its own. Following another reviewer, I used a combination of prunes and apricots, along with a full teaspoon of cumin. Wonderful flavors...everyone loved this dish. Thanks for a great recipe.

Re:Fresh Tortellini with Asparagus, Peas, and Mint

This was delicious, fast, and easy to make. My husband and I both loved it. I might add a bit more goat cheese next time, but no changes other than that.

Re:Minestrone with Green Beans and Fennel

Absolutely delicious and minimal prep work. I added fresh turkey sausage, sauteed in a little olive oil and then drained, to the final step. Also added more broth, as suggested by another reviewer. Definitely a "make again" recipe.

Re:White Wine Smashed Potatoes

Good recipe, but not great. I thought the flavor lacked depth, in spite of the long cooking time (one hour for potatoes to soften).

Re:Garlic-Rubbed Grilled Cheese with Prosciutto and Tomatoes

Delicious and not overly salty. Next time I'll prepare extra cheese mix to have on hand for more sandwiches.

Re:Penne with Eggplant, Tomato & Basil

With so many wonderful, fresh ingredients (including grilled zucchini as recommended by another reviewer), I thought this would be outstanding. It was bland. To anyone else who might try it, be sure to add more seasoning and/or herbs of your choice. I won't make this again...not worth the effort and pans to wash.

Re:Seared Turkey & White Bean Burgers

Wonderful, light, easy supper. The burgers have great flavor - just be careful not to overcook. Next time I'll try them on the grill.

Re:Shrimp Salad Rolls with Tarragon & Chives

My husband and I did not like this salad - no depth to the flavors and the fresh tarragon drowns out everything else.

Re:Corn, Sweet Onion & Zucchini Sauté with Fresh Mint

Fantastic flavors and easy to fix. I prepared all the ingredients in advance, then finished the dish while the meat was cooking on the barbecue. I doubled the recipe for my group of six, and there was only a little bit leftover.

Re:Good-For-You Blueberry Muffins

Excellent recipe. I live at high altitude (6,300 ft.) and made no adjustments. The muffins are tender and delicious, even when reheated. Next time I'll use a little less lemon zest.
