Re:Sweet Potato Pound Cake

Pound cake is moist and tender, a good fall alternative to spicier pumpkin cakes. I followed the recipe exactly as written using local Alabama red sweet potatoes. I have been baking cakes for more than 30 years, including professionally and this recipe is a definite keeper. My family's description is "delicious"

Re:Baked Apricot French Toast with Crunchy Corn Flake Streusel

Visually attractive and tasty recipe, but my family and I felt the apricot flavor was too mild. It might be the apricot preserve brand (Hero) and apricot nectar brand (Lakeland) I used. I will definitely make again but will add more apricot preserves and some nutmeg and more cinnamon.

Re:Spaghetti and Meatballs

I have eaten a lot of varieties of meatballs in my life and never considered any to be anything beyond the ordinary until I tasted these. These meatballs are outstanding. They are very favorable, with just the right blend of spices and moistness. They are just as good reheated the next day with or without the sauce. This recipe will definitely be added to my family's recipe collection.
