Made this last night and served it with roast chicken. Absolutely delicious. It would be great with kale greens, I think. Unfortunately my market was out of them so had to settle for a mix of spinach and arugula. Will definitely make again.

Absolutely delicious. I did not have the vinegar they called for so substituted strawberry balsamic. Also added an extra tablespoon of cocoa to the batter (I love chocolate). Next time I will add a little coffee and cinnamon to enhance the chocolate flavor. The icing is fabulous also and just the right amount. I found the pomegranate molasses at Fresh Market. It added a wonderful tang to the icing. By far the best red velvet I've ever had.

Flavorful and summery. I was short on lemons so used lemon olive oil on the pasta. I'll definitely make this again. Also substituted salmon for tuna as we prefer it.

Delicious and easy. The fries had wonderful flavor, but as the recipe mentioned they were not very crisp. Next time I'll omit the egg white and just toss the potatoes with the spices and a little oil. Sauce was good too and looked very pretty on the plate.

Wonderful flavor. Will definitely make again. Served it with pound cake and fresh strawberries on July 4. Guests loved it. A couple notes--1st) the custard took considerably longer to reach "coat the spoon" stage. Perhaps that's because I have an electric stovetop. In fact, all the heating steps took longer (approximately twice as long) than indicated. However, I didn't want the mixture to curdle, so may have used too low a temp.2nd) The mixture made more than a quart (no complaints about that), but next time I'd churn the mixture in 2 batches instead of 1.
