Ok - not a lot of flavor. My 1" potatoes didn't cook in an hour, either, and the meat was completely falling apart before the potatoes were done (not necessarily a bad thing, but start the potatoes earlier.)

One of my reliable go-tos. This recipe is easy and always comes out right. Leftovers are delicious, but store without the lemon and herbs as they start to taste sour.

Delicious. And I didn't think that was possible with broccoli. Especially delicious drizzled with lemon juice & soy sauce. I like to add a splash of toasted sesame oil in the sauce.

Not that great. The sauce didn't have much flavor. Perhaps adding chipotle powder and maybe some liquid smoke would help, but I'm not inclined to try it again.

Excellent recipe. Delicious and uncomplicated. My family loves it. Personally, I make twice as much mirepoix and a little more sauce for the given amount of chicken. And for four adults, I needed more like 5.5 pounds of thighs with everything else adjusted proportionally.

FABULOUS-comes together easily and so moist, flavorful and delicious. It is my go-to cake. Mine tend to fall in the middle as well, but maybe I'm doing something wrong.

VERY time-consuming, but delicious (and I don't even like butternut squash)!! That said, it was a bit dry with the given amount of liquid, so I add a little more. Maybe I'm making it too thick in the dish, but the middle didn't seem to cook through in a large pan. Individual dishes work much better and (bonus) look elegant at the table! All in all, I LOVE this recipe and look forward to fall so I can make it!
