Re:Brown Sugar & Molasses Brine

Very tasty results even from the leanest pork chops. We will be using the recipe again.

Re:Sautéed Spinach with White Beans and Pine Nuts

I was very disappointed after reading two great reviews. Not very impressive - the flavours did not come together at all.

Re:Cherry-Almond Clafoutis

The final product was overcooked and deep brown after 25 min in the oven, even though the custard did not seem to be done. I verified with Larousse Gastronomique and sure enough, I should have left the oven at 350 degrees for the duration. Next time, I'll use double or triple the amount of almond extract and kirsch as the flavour just did not come through. Our guests enjoyed the fresh cherries as a change from the traditional dried fruit.

Re:Limoncello-Gin Cocktail with Grilled Thyme

A hit with our guests! The thyme adds a great new dimension to the drink.

Re:Braised Kale with Pancetta

Very tasty. I use smoked Polish bacon and get the same results.

Just as tasty made with fresh Roma tomatoes! This is a keeper, says my husband.

Re:Fastest Cinnamon Buns

I've made these numerous times, including the apple butter variation. I wouldn't say that they are quick to make but definitely worth the effort as they always get rave reviews. They taste great whether prepared with lasagna-style cottage cheese or with dry, pressed cottage cheese moistened with some cream. Looking forward to trying the coconut almond version of the recipe.

Re:Classic Buttermilk Pancakes

Very tasty!! Light and fluffy. I found they need to cook a little longer on a fry pan.

Re:Plum Coffee Cake with Brown Sugar & Cardamom Streusel

Made this twice using Italian plums. Easy to prepare and best eaten on the same day. Reminds me of my mother's Polish plum cake with a spice twist.

Re:Pumpkin Sage Bundt Cake

Very quick and easy to prepare. Recommend it with a dollop of maple syrup sweetened whipping cream.
