Re:Spicy & Citrusy Couscous Salad

This is really delicious with lots of different flavours and textures. It's also an easy make ahead dish which is great for entertaining many at a time.

Re:Asian-Glazed Braised Short Ribs

Very flavourful and tender meat. Don't expect it to stay on the bones, however, and it produces alot of melted fat which needs to be skimmed. A real pleaser though.

Re:Spanish Honey-Cumin Roast Chicken with Apricots & Olives

This was so easy to make and very flavourful. A nice mix of salty sweet and good consistency and color to the sauce and chicken. Definitely a repeated dish in my house.

Re:Butternut Squash Soup with Cumin & Coriander

Very pleasing colour and consistency but disappointing taste. I'm a big fan of roasted butternut, but this soup lacked depth of flavour and needed a lot of salt.

Re:Honey-Cumin Roasted Chicken with Apricots & Olives

This is a really delicious recipe. It has a robust salty sweet flavour and rich golden brown appearance. Its also really fast and easy to make, and great as leftovers.

Re:Baked Ziti with Tomato, Mozzarella & Sausage

This is a very yummy dish. I'm generous with the sausage and my family prefers the hot variety. Scrumptious with a caesar salad, garlic bread and robust red wine. Perfect for a cold winter night.

Re:Roasted Vegetable Minestrone

A very tasty and easy soup to make. I'm a big fan of roasting vegetables as it sweetens and intensifies their flavor. I also put green beans and roasted turnip in it, and it freezes beautifully.

Re:Great Finds: Jose Gourmet Spiced Sardines

There's an obvious error in the recipe in which some of the fennel coulis ingredients are also in the list for the cider glaze. The fennel coilis takes time but its worth it, and the cider gravy/glaze is also delicious.

Re:Roasted Butternut Squash

Roasting the squash really intensifies the flavour. I caramelize it as much as I can before risk of burning it, and adding goat cheese makes it very rich. I also add a little parmesan to it for saltiness.

Re:Indonesian Grilled Chicken Thighs with Mango-Peanut Salsa

This is very tasty. I'm surprised at how many mistakes there are in your recipes on line. I have come across several since I've joined. This recipe in particular repeats the mango quantity and doesn't identify the pepper quantity. The mango salsa is really good.
