The pepper crust and seasoning are right on. Grill- roasting was something new to me - and up to the last minute, storms threatened and I was sure I would end up roasting in the oven, but the skies cleared and all was well.A winning dish!

Re:Cranberry Sauce with Vanilla, Maple Syrup & Cassis

I have never been a cranberry lover - until this recipe! The vanilla and cassis gave it an entirely different taste - one that was enjoyed by all of us! I made it a few days ahead of time, and as there was some left over, I took it to the country with me the next day - where it continued to be enjoyed for another couple of days. As of now, this is my cranberry sauce of choice!

Re:Sweet Potato Gratin with Caramelized Onions

I made this for Thanksgiving and it was a big hit. I do think I could have used MORE potatoes to fill the dish tightly, but was able to pack these close together for baking.Being able to make the onions ahead of time - and even have the whole dish ready a day ahead - is a boon for Holiday cooking! I will definitely make this again
