Re:Turkey-Chorizo Burgers with Guacamole

I thought the chorizo overpowered the turkey a little bit. I also found that a 1/2 tsp of salt in both the burger and avocado mash was a bit too much salt (and I like salt). I would cut both in half next time I make it.

Re:Spicy Carrot Ribbon Salad

I was a bit hesitant about making this salad, so I made just one serving for myself. It's fantastic! Bright, fresh, crunchy and zesty. The lime juice goes very well with the carrots and does not overpower them at all. Will def. make the full recipe next time.

Re:Classic Buttermilk Pancakes

Great recipe! Made it 3 times so far. The first attempt was a total disaster. I tried to make it with powdered buttermilk. I must have used to much water. The recipe can be easily halved and it still turns out great. Make sure to use buttermilk.

Delicious! A simple, easy and quick dish to make on a weeknight. The sauce is just right. I've had success with using broccoli and sugar snap peas in place of the snow peas. Def. add the peanuts for a nice contrast to the softer veggies.

This recipe is excellent and the taste is out of this world good. I formed the log and stuck it in the fridge, re-rolling it only twice and let it sit overnight to firm up.I found it easy to cut without any problems. My yield was 20 cookie sandwiches. I would probably double the filling next time I make it.

Re:Creole-Style Shrimp Jambalaya

I have made this recipe twice now. It's really good and has a fresh, clean flavor to it. I've made it with headless shrimp and with head-on shrimp. The head-on shrimp darken the broth much more than the headless. I have had problems with the rice burning to the bottom of my dutch oven, which is why I gave it only 4 stars. Overall very good and a keeper.
