This cake was a huge hit! It is moist and rich and made a nice presentation with the crystallized ginger on top.Usually pound cakes are difficult at higher altitudes but I made some adjustments for 5000+ feet and it worked great.BAKING POWDER: decrease 1/4 teaspoonSUGAR: decrease 3 tablespoonsLIQUID: Add 5 T. buttermilkFLOUR: increase 6 tablespoonsTEMPERATURE: Increase 25 degrees.
