Wasn't too fond of this. The red peppers didn't work well and overpowered the clams. The classic Manhattan and New England recipes on FC are much better.

Re:Crispy Tofu with Sesame Asparagus and Dipping Sauce

Loved the crispy texture of these but felt the tofu was pretty bland on the inside. It really needed the sauce. Maybe will try marinating the tofu next time in some of the sauce and then do the dredging, etc. Panko was perfect and even reheated crispy in the oven the next day.

This one just didn't work. There was too much liquid which produced a mashy soup. Also, the end resulted tasted very strongly of onions - I would saute them first with the spices before adding the liquid, maybe that would help. I'd look for another version before I'd try this one again.

Delicious recipe! Roasting the beans just makes their flavor pop, and the garlic, oh my the garlic. Throw an extra few cloves in there and eat them on their own. Yum.I've lost half of the beans and garlic to nibbling after they come out of the oven before I could get the dish finished! Didn't need quite as much olive oil, and would definitely increase the amount green beans, but overall just a fool proof crowd pleaser.

Re:Spicy Carrots with Jalapeño & Roasted Red Pepper

A very simple, quick and delicious recipe. Added the jalapeno per the recipe and it was the perfect heat. The mixture of sauteed onions, jalapenos and roasted peppers would be an excellent addition to many other vegetable sautes. Watch the cook time of the carrots; much better when they still have a little firmness to them. Got lots of "yums" from the whole family.
