Re:Spanish Pardina Lentil and Chorizo Stew

This was fine. I love chorizo and the classic Spanish lentil stew, so I was excited about this. I enjoyed it but I just never felt like going back for leftovers. We might make it again.

Re:French Onion Roast Chicken

This was delicious! I love caramelized onions and this is so simple that it will be on our menu regularly. The first time I made it I used my big roasting pan and that was too big and the onions turned out burned because they were spread too thin with not enough liquid. The second time, I used my cast iron skillet and it turned out perfectly with the onions varying in color from golden to deep brown. So choose your roasting dish carefully!

Re:Potato, Fennel, and Leek Gratin with Prosciutto and Chestnuts

This is so rich and so good. The chestnuts I got were moldy so didn't get to use them but the addition of the prosciutto was amazing.

Re:Butternut Squash with Kale and Dried Cranberries

I love this combo of winter vegetables. I keep getting a craving for this side. The sweetness of the butternut squash and cranberries really balance out the kale. If the instructions are followed the kale is the perfect consistency.

Re:Shredded Brussels Sprouts Salad with Oranges, Toasted Walnuts, and Crisp Prosciutto

It was fine but I don't think I would make it again. I'm not sure that the flavors mixed well for me,

Re:Bread Stuffing with Sausage, Apples & Sage

This was good but not as flavorful as similar stuffing that I have had previously.

Re:Cornbread Stuffing with Chorizo, Wild Mushrooms, and Scallions

This was so amazing! I may start making this even when it's not a holiday. It will probably be my go to stuffing for future Thanksgivings.

Re:Slow-Roasted Pork Shoulder with Carrots, Onions, and Garlic

This dish has become one of the first standards in my house that didn't come from my mother. It is the best pork roast I have ever had and always a crowd pleaser. I make Fine Cooking's Honey Dijon Parsnip mash to go with this and it is really tasty. We also enjoy the Pork Ragout over Polenta for leftovers. We do tend to add more carrots and onions as other reviewers have stated because there isn't enough from the recipe as written.
