Re:Ginger-Lemon-Soy Splash

Simple and superb on roasted carrots. Juicing the ginger was a new experience but I used a mortar and pestle and simply removed pulp. No biggie. The sweetness of carrots combined with salty note of soy and zesty citrus of lemon with pleasant zing of ginger -- niiicccce.

Re:Tortellini with Artichokes, Roasted Peppers & Olives

Very tasty with salty flavors predominating. The wine and garlic add a second layer of flavor that is great (the garlic is by no means overpowering) and the tortellini makes the dish somewhat hearty. With salad and bread, sure to satisfy. Also excellent as a left-over. My rendition was somewhat glompy.

Re:Iceberg Wedges with Blue Cheese Buttermilk Dressing

Very simple, great blue cheese flavor with refreshing bite of iceberg. Easy prep and wedge-shaped serving is not what guests are expecting. I shaved a star off because the flavor is one dimensional. However, I will make it again and if you like blue cheese and/or are serving BBQ, this is a sure winner.
