Re:Lamb Stew with Parsnips, Prunes, and Chickpeas

Very nice dish and great textures. I didn't brown the meat ahead of time, but will do next time for boost of flavor and visual appeal. Added carrots for extra color, and lots more parsley as well. With 4 c. broth, sauce rather thin so had to thicken it a bit.

Re:Curried Lentil Soup

Truly delicious and wonderful combination of flavors. Since I'm not a fan of the color of the soup, I chopped and blanched another carrot and celery stalk until tender and added it to the soup at the end for an extra pop of color. Lovely visual.

The soup was bland and didn't have depth of character. I added other flavors to it to bring it to life.
