Re:Slow-Cooker Southern-Style Short Ribs with Pimiento Grits

Scrumptious! I usually do short ribs in a red wine braise, but we really enjoyed the barbecue flavor and the pimiento cheese grits for a change of pace. Cooked on high for 6 hours and they were perfect.

This method worked well and the meat was nicely flavored and very tender. I seasoned my 4 lb boneless roast 3 days ahead. It makes a great taco, quesadilla, or as a sauce over cheesy grits.
