Re:Warm Shrimp Salad with Honeydew and Feta

This makes a delicious main dish salad. I didn't use all of the coriander, which was a bit too much, in my opinion, but the flavors were wonderful. My husband cleaned his plate!

Re:Slow-Cooker Pot Roast with Root Vegetables and Red Wine

I first reviewed this a year ago after a disappointing result and gave it a 3 star rating. Yesterday, after reading the other reviews, I made this again with a Whole Foods chuck roast and it was wonderful! Not sure what happened the first time - must have been the meat. This will be our "go to" pot roast recipe. It's great with the Lemony Polenta with Parmegiano-Reggiano.

Re:Peach & Blueberry Crisp with Spiced-Pecan Topping

This is delicious! Since our guest did not care for pecans, I used a classic crisp crust. I also used 8 oz. of blueberries and 8 oz. of blackberries. I agree the vanilla bean ice cream with it is a must.

Re:Pork Chops with Cider-Dijon Pan Sauce

I thought this recipe excellent. Used the ingredients called for, including Grey Poupon's Harvest coarse grained mustard. I did not find the mustard unpleasant at all. My husband and I both enjoyed it.

Re:Chicken Meatball and Escarole Soup

Great recipe. We added a 15 oz. can of cannelini beans (drained), extra escarole and chicken stock and doubled the meatbells (they're great). This recipe will be one of our regular evening meals.

Re:Bison Burgers with Thousand Island Barbecue Dressing

Wonderful flavor. This will become one of our "go to" grilling recipes. Couldn't find a smokey bbq sauce, so just added a little Liquid Smoke.

Re:Grilled Chicken and Potatoes with Tomato and Cucumber Salad

Great flavors! The vinaigrette is wonderful. Next time I will smash and drizzle the potatoes with it as well as the chicken.

Re:Spicy Sausage, Escarole & White Bean Stew

I agree with JanMarie, this is one to double or triple. My husband loves to take leftovers for lunch. The flavor depends on the quality of the sausage. The 2nd time I made it, there was only bulk sausage available which was not as good as the sausage I had used previously that came in casings. One of the best stews I've made! It will become a staple.

Re:Lemon Cheesecake Squares

This is definitely a keeper! Made it for a potluck today and came home with no leftovers and requests for the recipe. I didn't have a problem with an "explosion" when I poured the lemon curd over the hot cheesecake. This is absolutely delicious!

Re:Lemon Curd for Cheesecake

This is excellent. I can't wait to try it with Meyer Lemons, it may then rate 5 stars. Instructions were easy to follow and it turned out silky and smooth I did note moisture beading on the top of the squares after overnight refrigeration, but having never used lemon curd in this manner, I don't know whether that is to be expected.
