Re:Kicked-Up Ketchup

I actually skipped the carmelized onions (out of the interest of time), and it was still really good. Definitely an upgrade from plain ol' ketchup!

Really great sauce, especially good on the grilled beef roast. This chimichurri tasted better to me than others I've had previously, it had a nice balance of sharp flavors to make it very memorable.

Re:Bruschetta with Herbed Tomatoes

This is one of our favorite summer starters to show off our home-grown tomatoes. I like the rosemary-garlic oil, but it's also a fun way to use other flavored oils, too. I think the best part is the way the tomatoes are prepared, and the tomato "run-off" is used to brush the toasts.

These turkey burgers are really good. Very refreshing for summer eating, definitely different from a traditional burger. I especially liked the fresh herbs in the burger.

Re:Roast Chicken with Rosemary-Lemon Salt

What an amazingly perfect roast chicken! I've made a lot of roast chickens so far, with all sorts of variations, but this recipe came out perfect. All of the meat was tender and juicy. I thought I'd have leftovers, but it was gone! Definitely give this a try, I don't think I'll ever roast a chicken another way again.

VERY tasty! This recipe does take a lot of time; to save some energy, I did the first portion of cooking in a crockpot on high the day before, then boiled down in another pot the day of serving. We had as a simple dinner with cornbread, it was quite substantial. Will definitely make again.

This recipe is so good, and the roast lemons were a surprise. After roasting they are difficult to distinguish from the potatoes, but you get a nice burst of fresh citrus when you eat them. Yum!

I tried twice to make these crab cakes. They look so lovely. It was a complete mess, total soup that I could not get to form a cake or fry, and I tried several things to get them to work. I was very disappointed.
