Re:Black Bean and Pepper Jack Burgers

These were easy to make and delicious. They freeze pretty well. Instead of setting in the refrigerator, I threw them into the freezer until firm. Then I wrapped in wax paper and put into a freezer bag. Cooked from frozen took about 5-7 minutes per side. The texture changes a bit when frozen - they're not as creamy.

Re:Caramel-Pecan Brownies

My friends and I agree - these are the best brownies in the world. I've made them twice now. The first time I kept burning the caramel, so I used a can of dulce de leche I had in the pantry instead. The second time my friend made the caramel for me. Both batches were delicious.

Re:Bread Stuffing with Fresh Herbs

I'll never use a stuffing mix again. I made this with homemade rosemary bread and it was out of this world.

Re:Seared Baby Bok Choy with Tofu & Shiitakes

I've been making this about once a week now. Quick, healthy, and full of flavor.

Re:Bourbon-Chocolate Mousse

I wasn't expecting much from this recipe because it was so quick and simple, but wow! I'm pretty sure I was saying 'OMG, this is so good.' between each bite. The chocolate and bourbon go perfectly together. I added fresh vanilla whipped cream and raspberries. This is going to be my go-to desert when I want to impress people now.

Re:Autumn Vegetable Soup

One of my favorite soups of all time and the reason why I finally subscribed to Fine Cooking. I've made this a few times and now know to always make a double batch so I can freeze it and have some on hand for when I don't feel like cooking or going to the store. Seriously this is so good and so healthy! Also -- try adding jalapeno cheddar chicken sausage like some reviewers mentioned -- soo good!

Re:Cilantro Pesto

This is my new favorite pesto! I just had it on the Grilled Vegetable Tacos, and I think tomorrow I'll use it as a salad dressing on some romaine w/ pepitas and tortilla strips.

Re:Mixed Green Salad with Grilled Scallions, Mango, and Cilantro-Lime Vinaigrette

I followed the recipe exactly, but the dressing was inedible.
