Re:Potato Gnocchi Recipe

WOW!! This was my first attempt at making gnocchi and it turned out to be the best gnocchi I've ever eaten and it was so easy. I made the sausage and leek ragu and it was better than anything I could get in a restaurant. Thank you so much for this great article and recipe.

Re:Caramel Popcorn

This caramel popcorn is fantastic. Reminds me of walking on the boardwalk on the Jersey Shore as a kid...eating freshly made caramel popcorn. I followed the recipe exactly and turned out wonderful the very first time. Rave reviews from my friends. Make sure you pick out the unpopped kernels before you add the caramel or the kernels stick to the popped corn and you can't get them off. I LOVE this recipe.

Re:Caramel Sauce

This was so easy and so delicious. I followed the recipe exactly as written. The key is to have your heavy cream at room temperature and use a heavy bottomed pan. I've made the Espresso caramel and the plain caramel sauce. Both are so good and very easy to do.

Re:Southwest Tomato & Roasted Pepper Soup

This soup is Fantastic. Made this recipe exactly as written but I used my immersion blender. The lime sour cream and cilantro put this over the top. I loved the classic tomato soup recipe from this same issue...but this one is even better. Great flavors and very easy. Linda

Re:Bourbon & Brown Sugar Marinated Steak

My family LOVES this recipe and requests it when we all get together. The steak really picks up the flavor and the concentrated sauce is delicious over the top. This recipe is a winner at my house.

Re:Autumn Fruit Pie

I love this recipe. I've made it as a pie and also as a crisp in individual ramekins. I use a combination of Braeburn & Granny Smith apples and Bosc pears. For the crisp topping I combine 6T golden brown sugar + 6T waluuts + 6T chilled unsalted butter (cut into chunks) + 4 1/2T old-fashioned oats + 4 1/2T all purpose flour. Process in a food processor until moist clumps form and top the crisps. Is even better the next day. This recipe is Really Good!!!

Re:Classic Tomato Soup Recipe

This soup is outstanding. Great flavor, quick and easy. I made it exactly as written but used my immersion blender. Served with the cheese toasts from FC tomato bisque recipe and a nice tossed salad...my friends wouldn't leave the house without these recipes.

Re:Mixed Berry Tarts with Lemony Filling

These are spectacular. If I don't have time to make the pastry, I simply fill a martini glass with the lemony cream and top with a mixture of fresh berries. Rave reviews everytime I make these. I love the fact that I can make the lemon curd ahead of time. A wonderful dessert can be ready for guests in no time at all.

Re:Summer Corn Soup

This soup is fantastic. Healthy and light. I've made it 5 times since I received the magazine and I can hardly wait for corn season so I can make more. I made it for my vegan friend, and she called to ask what kind of milk I put in it...NONE!! It's rich and flavorful, even my picky kids went crazy over it. Freezes excellent. This soup is as good as the corn you use, so make sure you get good fresh sweet corn. A little time consuming to make, but well worth it.
