Re:Grilled Asparagus with Parsley-Tarragon Chimichurri

I did the recipe exactly and it turned out very well. I wasn't big on the chimichurri flavor but everyone else loved it. I had a little extra sauce but not much. I used white vinegar instead of champagne vinegar and I tripled the recipe for a cookout.

Re:Short Rib and Dried Porcini Lasagne

Very good recipe overall but I would have to agree with the other reviewer that it needs more tomato. The sauce didn't seem like enough. Other than that it was excellent. The dried mushrooms were a nice touch (although they were a little expensive for me) but still worth it. I increased the meat a little bit but wished I put more meat on it; I just really like braised short ribs. Maybe mine were too fatty, I don't know. It takes a little time to make this but its well worth it.

Re:Pasta with Sicilian Pork and Sausage Ragù

Another great ragu recipe from Fine Cooking. Pork shoulder can take awhile depending on the weight so you do have to adjust it. I think the time specified in the recipe was correct for me but I did have the same weight and also I think your pot can have something to do with it. I used a cast iron dutch oven and the lid is on there tight so maybe that helps with the cooking time.

Re:Fettucine with Ragu alla Bolognese

Perfect recipe! I browned the meat for the maximum time and simmered the ragu at also the maximum time. Try the other ragu recipe with pork shoulder and Italian sausage.
