Re: Win Oxo's Good Grips Salad Spinner
My first salad spinner was about 30 years ago, and I have never been without at least one in the house since then. I have worn them out and bought new ones, saving the bottom parts to use as colander and washing bowl for fruits, vegetables and herbs. While I have a working one now, I hope to win another, because I'm sure to also wear it out someday.

Re: Win an All-Clad 3-Quart Saucepan
Oh, I would love an all-Clad saucepan. Just what I need. I have an All-Clad saute pan and I just love it.

Re: Win Grace Young's Must-Have Cooking Tools
30" counters! That's the answer! How I would love that! I could use a good wok. But I didn't know what kind to get. My stir-fries are done in a flat pan and are difficult to stir without slopping all over the stove.

Re: How Are Our Recipes, Anyway?
I love and trust Fine Cooking Magazine recipes. Whenever I am cooking something "adventurous", my nervous-eater husband will be willing to taste it if I tell him it's from Fine Cooking Magazine. Thank you, Fine Cooking!

Re: Cooking beans in salt water
So why is it that when you cook corn on the cob, they tell you not to salt the water or the corn comes out tough?
