Re:Browned Cauliflower with Anchovies, Olives & Capers

Wow! This was so much better than I expected, even after reading the reviews! Not sure how large my cauliflower was, but when I went to put the rest away, my husband had finished it all! I roasted it in a little olive oil, then tossed it in the sauce with about a Tbsp of warm water added. I used tapenade, as I didn't have Kalamata olives - just saved time! A definite regular on the menu now!

This was excellent! I used Anson Mills cornmeal, 1/2 the sugar, as I don't like sweet cornbread, and substituted creme fraiche for the sour cream, as I had some. It was moist and tasty. I also added some Hatch chiles I wanted to use up - yummy!

I loved this! Cut the carrots a little larger and still didn't need 30 min in the oven, more like 20. Next time I'll try adding chicken broth, or using a smaller pan to initially cook them so the cream doesn't cook up so fast. Yummy!

This was fantastic! Easy, and SO flavorful. Made it as written except that I did make a real stock the 2nd time with the shrimp shells, cooked it about 1/2 hr before adding to the shrimp and rice. I love the flavor of the stock, and just enough heat with the wonderful spicing! Will make this a lot!

This was such a beautiful presentation! I served it with smoked turkey thighs, and it's very rich, I think better served on its own. I may try it without cheese to serve with a meat.

This was great with the addition of red pepper and fish sauce for more balanced flavor. Next time I will cook the tenderloin whole to get more char without the chance of overcooking it.

Re:Sweet Potato Cottage Pie

I made this without dried fruit, as I didn't have any, and it probably would have helped balance the flavors with the sweet potatoes. Loved the flavor of the meat (with less salt) by itself, it was like piccadillo. But there weren't enough sweet potatoes to go with it, so it didn't quite meld. Next time I"ll use more, as I like the idea of this dish.
