What a surprise!! I had no time to cook and all of the ingredients, so against better judgment (raw summer squash?) I tried this recipe. This is a beautifully elegant and hearty salad. I am astounded at how good this was!

This is my second time making this. It is in the oven right now. I am...excited... It really is an excellent Clafoutis recipe. The result is rich and warm, buttery and just really wonderful...20 more minutes.

Re:Seared Scallops with Pea Purée, Crisp Pancetta & Gremolata

This really was quite good. I really liked the pea puree. I tried to hit my mother-in-law up for some fresh peas... but she wasn't sharing. So, I used frozen. The puree still tasted really great though, and the scallops were great. It really was a beautiful dish.

Re:Chocolate-Pomegranate Torte

I made this but because of time/ingredient limitations, I used trappist cherry preserves for the jelly on the top. It was far easier to make than I thought it would be, and the cake came out incredibly rich and moist.

Re:Spinach with Pine Nuts & Raisins

This recipe has become a standard in our house. It is FAR better than steaming the spinach: Its not even really in the same ball park. The result is a savory, salty and sweet spinach dish that is really satisfying. Please kep in mind that like all spinach dishes, the anount that you will have at the end of cooking itis a lot smaller than what the raw spinach starts out being.

Re:Classic Glazed Carrots

These were very easy and tasted great. I used brown sugar and a tiny pinch of cumin. My kids LOVED them.... probably too much. Easy and good = good ratings :)
