I'm a sucker for oatmeal cookies and these did not disappoint. Terrific cookie, makes a TON. Had an amber honey on hand, and the honey taste really came through. A friend who hates walnuts even liked these.

These are great, and I'm pretty ambivalent when it comes to chocolate. The cookie is both crispy and tender because of the center drop. As another reviewer mentioned, they are on the larger side for a holiday cookie.

Re:Preserved Lemons

I love preserved lemon, and this is the best version I have tried. Super-easy, and the pint volume makes a lot more sense than the quart-sized recipes elsewhere. A little preserved lemon goes a long way! This will be my go to recipe.

Excellent, simple spiced nuts. Took them to football night where they were a big hit. Halfway through cooking it looked like the "batter" wouldn't absorb, but rest assured it does. Made with half pecans and half walnuts - may have liked the walnuts better!

Re:Persian Chicken with Pomegranate and Walnuts

Easy, different, and delicious! Unless you hate them, don't skip the pomegranate seeds, as they add pretty color to the dish. Subbed in demerara sugar for the white for a more mellow sweetness. Served with brown rice pilaf. Will make it again.
