Made this a few times during the year and it just never fails to disappoint or get old. It's a little more work but I think it's well worth the effort. This is the best care cake I've ever had.

Outstanding recipe. No variations, there was none left by the time dinner guests went home. Many went back for a second serving. Candied carrots really make it stand out too. This may be the best carrot cake I've ever had. Some of my guests said it definitely was. You won't be disappointed.

As others have commented, this did take some time but it was so worth the extra effort. The flavors mixed together very nicely and the frosting with the pineapple really hit the spot. It was a huge hit at our family dinner party.

Made this tonight and doubled the recipe. It was divine. Everything was perfect. Guests all of a sudden discover a pool of melted chocolate in the middle of their souffl. It was a huge hit, and I thought it was very easy. This one is a definite keeper.

Oh man! I've never made pasta before in my life. I did this tonight for a party of 6 and it was just killer. I put 7 on the plate and served it with the butter sauce recipe because I didn't have any hazelnuts. The combination of roasted butternut squash, sage, garlic, and parmesan(couldn't find the recommended cheese)was out of this would. This is a definite keeper.

I've made this several times in the past couple of years. Not only does it look great, but it tastes great as well. I change up the fruit combinations to keep things fresh and different. I think it's a keeper.

Well that's funny because I also grew up in Florida and I've always had key lime pie with a crust. This recipe was excellent-really nice balance of tang/tart/sweet
