This classic cocktail of the bitter apéritif Campari and sweet vermouth was created in Milan in the 1860s.


  • 2 oz. Campari
  • 2 oz. sweet vermouth
  • Club soda
  • 1 lemon twist, for garnish


  • Add the Campari and vermouth to an ice-filled highball glass and stir. Fill the glass with soda and garnish with a lemon twist.
