Simple Syrup

Simple syrup is the base for many a cocktail. If you have leftover syrup, store it in the fridge for up to a month.

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water

In a small saucepan, mix the sugar and water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. Immediately remove from the heat and let cool.
