Friends were coming for dinner. They live in New England. They are foodies and she is a superlative cook. Dinner had to be imaginative, look great, delicious, and not taste like something out of the some old New England cookbook (even though I use them a lot too). Lobster was a perfect place to start since nothing is better in Maine. What happened from there resulted in an outstanding and memorable dinner full of flavor, eye appeal and culinary satisfaction.
