Using a gas grill can be easier because you can control the fire with the turn of a button. The drawback is that you don’t get as good a smoked flavor. If your gas grill has a smoke box that sits on or between the burners, put wood chips or sawdust in it to give your chicken some smoky flavor. This does take a while, but it is the best grilled chicken I've ever had. My guests thought the same. So good. Just be prepared to put it on the grill EARLY!!
This is a fool proof method of grilling chicken!! It only takes an houron my barbie and the chicken is always moist and tender. The spice rubwith the Georgia Peach sauce has become a family favourite.
GREAT recipe. I usually ended up with overcooked, burnt barbequed chicken. The key is the low heat, which is somewhat of a challenge on my charcoal grill. This is definitely the most perfect grilled BBQ chicken I've made.
