German appliance-maker Bosch introduced an all-in-one food processing center that features a food processor and blender run by one motor. You’ll need a good bit of countertop room for this large unit, although it does contain some space-saving features, including a nifty slide out drawer at the base to hold all those attachments that usually get lost. Optional attachments include a food mill and juicer, and the unit will retail for about $249. Looking further ahead, Bosch plans to bring an industrial-power stand mixer to market in 2008. At 1400 watts, the unit combines a stand mixer and blender, and promises to handle the thickest of doughs with ease. The unit will retail for around $559, if you can wait a year.
