
Sometimes great cooking tips pop up on the web. Here’s one that was new to us: How to peel a mango using a glass. Simply align a halved and pitted mango where the flesh meets the skin on the edge of a sturdy glass (flesh facing in). Force the fruit down the side of the glass. If your mango is ripe, this method works like a charm. Very underripe fruit won’t budge, and overripe may turn to mush.
