Working out here in the middle of Connecticut, I’m pretty far from New York’s Chinatown. Sometimes I really miss it, for the food, of course, but also for the addictive bubble tea, which is served all over in restaurants and tea bars. In case you’re wondering, this delicious concoction is as simple as a mixture of tea, milk, and giant pearl tapioca (which you slurp up with a fat straw). Jennifer Yu’s gorgeous photos at Use Real Butter just reminded me that it’s either time to make a visit downtown, or better, to just make this at home myself—it couldn’t be easier.
