As we’re inching into colder weather, I’m ready to ditch chilled lettuce and fruit salads for warm, heavy dishes and cheesy casseroles. These satisfying winter dishes certainly tend to be more fattening, but they don’t have to be so bad for us. Alejandra, in her blog Always Order Dessert, gives us an alternative, more health conscious recipe for Classic Mac and Cheese that proves to be just as yummy. Trying to maintain my weight, I often opt out of creamy mac and cheese for something much less indulgent and delicious. But with this recipe, I feel less guilty for eating this savory meal.
