Chocolate-Mint Brownies
Chocolate peppermint brownies—oh, my! Ever since we published Greg Case’s recipe back in 2002, these have been one of my favorite things in the world. Now along comes David Lebovitz with a recipe that threatens to replace Greg’s in my recipe collection. David’s recipe is an adaptation of a Maida Heatter recipe, and since they’ve both got solid-gold credentials when it comes to desserts, I’m willing to bet this one will be pretty killer. They look simple to make, too: You just layer brownie batter with chocolate-covered thin mints (the candy kind, not the Girl Scout cookies).
Be sure you read the whole post and not just the recipe. Contained within is a great tip born from much experience on how to make any brownie taste ever better.
