In the last contest, you blew us away with your creative ice cream creations. Now we want to see what you can do with pizza. Can you top yourselves?

First: Use our interactive recipe builder to Create Your Own Grilled Pizza. (Just like last time, the recipe builder is free, but you’ll need to create an account and log in to save the recipes you create).

Next: Share it with us. Not literally, unfortunately. Post photos and a description of your pizza on our contest page. On Tuesday, September 22, we’ll post 10 finalists’ chosen for their creativity and execution, then we’ll open it up to the community for voting until Friday, October 2nd. Expect us to announce the voters’ favorite on Monday, October 5th.

The lucky winner gets four great reads: a collection of cookbooks from The Taunton Press, including Pizza on the Grill by Elizabeth Karmel and Bob Blumer, Grillin’ with Gas by Fred Thompson, Absolutely Chocolate by the Editors of Fine Cooking, and Beef by John Torode.

Finally: It’s not considered cheating if you watch our video on how to grill a pizza. It’s loaded with tips for creating a hot and cool zone on the grill, getting those great grill marks on the dough, and timing your toppings—all important for creating a delicious (and photogenic) pizza.

Good luck!
