We like to give holiday gifts of chocolate-dipped dried fruits but always seemed to lose a number of dried apricots in the dipping pan. We came up with the idea of skewering each apricot with a toothpick and then dipping it into the chocolate. The toothpick is then poked into a piece of styrofoam, covered with parchment paper, until it hardens.
