If you have a large crop of chiles this summer, you don’t need to race to use them up. You can freeze them whole in a zip-top storage bag, and then take them out as you need them. The texture won’t be as crisp when used raw, but it’s not noticeable if finely minced in, say, a salsa or when cooked in a dish.
