Everybody loves a classic. That’s how traditional holiday dishes like bread stuffing; mashed potatoes; creamed onions; green bean casserole; sweet potato casserole (yes, with gooey marshmallows on top) and apple, pecan, and pumpkin pies reach their classic status. Something about the holiday meal seems off if one of these dishes doesn’t make an appearance (and then a very swift disappearance, of course).

    Have you tried grilling your corn? There are a lot of ways to do this, one you peel back the husk, wash off all the threads, put some butter and what ever seasoning you want, I like Tony Chachere's No Salt Cajun a lot, but everything I've ever tried was good. So, butter, throw it on the grill, let the husk char, turn it some, and you're done.

    Really easy.

    Does anyone know of something different to do with corn? My kids love it and ask for it every year, but I'd like to find a new way to cook it. Thanks for your help!

    We take fresh green beans, wash them and snip the ends, sautee them in olive oil and serve with crumbled feta cheese, dried cranberries and a sprinkle of crushed up croutons. Excellent, to say the least!
