When I was younger, I didn’t give my halloween candy away for anything. After all that hard work trick-or-treating for hours on end, I wanted to savor every piece. But after seeing Picky Palate author Jenny Flake’s recipe for Peanut Butter Cookie and Cream Cheese “Candy” Bars, I’d be happy to forfeit my entire candy stash for just a taste of these awesome bars.
For all you moms out there sneaking a piece of your children’s candy after they go to sleep, I’d think about keeping a collection of it until you have enough to make these bars – the wait would totally be worth it.
Although just using your leftover candy would work too…

personally, I think all commercial candy bars belong in one place only, the garbage. They are not worthy of being rescued in any way, shape or form.
Could be tasty but you have to be careful what you mix. I once made some cookies with leftover Snickers, and they were pretty gross.
