It’s easy to dress up basic whipped cream with chocolate flavor, which makes it perfect for topping brownies, fresh berries, ice cream…or just eating straight from the bowl.
- Whip 1 cup of cold heavy cream and 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract to soft peaks.
- Stir in about 1/3 cup f the cream into 4 oz. melted room temperature dark chocolate.
- Fold the chocolate into the remaining cream.
If you overwhip your cream, don’t worry, it’s easy to fix! Just gently whisk in a tablespoon or two of fresh cream until the lumpiness is smoothed out.
