As I was preparing cakes to be photographed for the upside-down cake story, Turn it Upside Down, I had fun experimenting with different ways to arrange the fruit for the orange and tropical cakes. Here are a couple of the alternative designs I came up with that didn’t make it into the story. If you make one of these cakes, you can follow one of our designs or have a little fun of your own coming up with an original creation.
