How to enter Fine Cooking’s Spring Pinner Party on Pinterest.com

1:  Create a Pinterest board called “My Fine Cooking Pinner Party” and categorize under Food and Drink.

2:  Pin 5 to 10 recipes to create your party menu. Most recipes must be pinned from FineCooking.com, but you can include one “wild card” recipe from any source.

3: Pin up to 10 additional images to tell the story of your party. Images may indicate location, theme, dinnerware, and or suggested attire.  Include a brief description with each image and a credit to the source.
4: Post a link to your board in the comments section of the contest pin on Pinterest to enter your board. Remember, you must be a follower of Fine Cooking on Pinterest to be eligible (see full Official Rules below).

The challenge begins on April 2nd 2012 and runs through April 30th 2012.  Fine Cooking editors will select a winning board based on culinary choice, creativity and style expertise.  The creator of the winning board will be notified on May 2nd 2012.

Go wild and have fun. This is an imaginary party with an unlimited budget, you know, the stuff dreams are made of.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER.  Sweepstake begins at 1:00 p.m. ET on April 2nd, 2012 and ends 11:59 ET on April 30th , 2012. The Pinner Party challenge is open to legal residents of the United States, who are at least 18 years old, and to legal residents of Canada (except Quebec), who are at least 18 years old.  Challenge is void where prohibited.

TO ENTER:  There is one way to enter the Pinner Party Challenge: Visit Fine Cooking’s Pinterest page, follow Fine Cooking’s boards, and click on the Fine Cooking/Pinner Party Challenge pin, and submit a link to your Pinterest board featuring Fine Cooking recipes in the comments section. All entries become the property of the Sponsors. Only one entry per person.

PRIZE DESCRIPTION: There will be one (1) winner of a prize package which will include: 1 one-year subscription to Fine Cooking Magazine (approximate retail value: $29.95 ), and 1 copy each of the following books: Salad for Dinner ($19.95), Fine Cooking In Season ($22.95), Harvest to Heat ($40), and Absolutely Chocolate ($29.95). Total retail value of the prize is approximately $142.80.

TAXES:  Except where prohibited, all federal, state, provincial, local or other tax liabilities, including but not limited to luxury, sales, use, income, VAT, GST, and PST tax, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner.  In the event of a Canadian winner, Sponsor will deduct any applicable withholding taxes imposed by the U.S. and applicable state governments from value of prize award and the prize award value will be adjusted accordingly.

NO PRIZE TRANSFER OR SUBSTITUTION: No prize or any portion thereof is transferable or redeemable for cash. Any portion of the prize that is not used is forfeited. No substitutions for prize except by Sponsor, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted.

TERMS/CONDITIONS:  No transfer or substitution of prizes.  Employees, officers, and contractors (including immediate family members and members of the same household) of  Sponsors, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, distributors, dealers, retailers, vendors of Sponsors, and all other persons/entities associated with this Sponsor and/or promotion, are not eligible.  All Federal, State/Provincial and local laws apply.  By participating, entrants agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Challenge Entities and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents from and against any claims made by winners, entrants, or any other third parties, related in any way to the operation of this Challenge as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in any Challenge-related activity or participation in this Challenge.  

WINNING:  On or about April 30th, 2012 the winner will be selected from among all eligible entries received. All boards will be judged and rated on composition, style and culinary taste. The winner will be notified by email.  Odds of winning will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received and on the evaluation of entry. One prize per person, household, or family.

CLAIMING PRIZES:  Winners must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (or in Canada a Declaration of Compliance) within 10 days of notification, or prize may be forfeited.  Winners will also be required to provide proof of age.  (Tennessee residents will not be required to sign Publicity Release as a condition of winning a prize.)  Residents of Canada, in order to win, must first correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question administered by mail or e-mail at Sponsor’s sole discretion.  All prizes will be awarded.

    I hear you on the weird Pinterest errors...(growing pains, I guess), so we will consider any links to Pinterest boards that you post here until midnight tonight (april 30).

    please disregard my comments on here pinterest seems to have fixed the problem and allowed me to post on the contest pin (as well on my friends pins which also wasn't working).
